The committee comprises representatives of both internal and external members, as per the AICTE notification (Ref. No-F.No.37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009, dated 01-07-2009). The prime objective of the committee is to ensure a healthy, fear-free, and homely environment for all the students, who pursue their educational objectives through the technical & professional courses offered by the institution.
The institution strongly believes a healthy and fear-free environment is an indispensable part of any academic culture. It endeavors to take various measures through appropriate administrative bodies in ensuring a zero-tolerance zone for ragging on the campus. The measures include periodic awareness camps, both by in-house administrative authorities and authorities from Civil society and nearby public administration. The anti-ragging committee acts as a central nodal agency of the institution in eradicating the menace of ragging, both physically from the campus and psychologically from the mindset of the students.
