Vibrancy of Indian democracy was felt when students of Computer Science & Engineering participated as honourable MPs in a mock parliament session. The session was conducted on 26/7/2018 in 3rd floor seminar hall, under the supervision of department faculty members.

Opposition mooted a no confidence motion against ruling party on the issue of demonetization and finally over thrown ruling party government with a support of 53.3% vote in favour of no confidence motion. The session was chaired by OmkarChandanKar, 3rd year, CSE, as honourable speaker of mock parliament session.

The session was started with a brief address by Prof. Mohini P. Mishra, HOD, CSE, highlighting the need of conducting such session, where several burning political issues that affects a common man’s life can be discussed in details and students in particular can be made aware of their responsibilities towards nation building.
