GEC Autonomous College secured the prestigious NIRF ranking for the year 2020 by Ministry of HRD

GEC got its NAAC "A+" Grade Accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditaion Council, UGC, Govt. of India, in the year 2022 with a score of 3.33 on a 4 point scale.

GEC Received “Best Emerging T School of Odisha” award from Padma Bhusan Dr Shiv Nadar, Chairman and Founder HCL Technology at Data Quest Digital India Leadership conclave held at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi on 11th December 2018.

GEC Autonomous College is awarded with “Best Engineering College in East India for Industry Interface 2018” for outstanding and exemplary contribution towards Education,Skill development and Research on 21st December ,2018 at India International centre ,New Delhi during Research and Innovation Summit.

On 21st November, 2018 GEC, Bhubaneswar honored with IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) certification from Ministry of HRD. IIC is a MHRD initiative, specially targeting the young talents and helps to establish a culture of innovation in campus, where students gets an opportunity to think beyond their regular academic curriculum. This will help to involve students more into R&D initiatives and make them aware about the latest trends in their respective discipline.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation appreciate to GEC Autonomous College for its contribution towards “Clean- E Bhubaneswar” movement. Honorable Principal of Dr. R. R. Sabat have received the award and certificate on behalf of GEC on a evening of award ceremony function, organized by BMC on 30th October 2018.

GEC Autonomous College acquired first position as Local chapter of NPTEL, among all Private Engineering colleges of Odisha.
